About Us

Loch Art of Tain was set up in 1995 by Tish Lockhart, a cartographer and illustrator based in Tain in the Scottish Highlands, who began the company producing hand-drawn maps and wallcharts in both English and Gaelic.  Recently the company has expanded to include hand-coloured prints and ceramic goods.

The hand-drawn maps offer historical, archaeological, geographical, natural history and cultural insights into different regions of Scotland. They make ideal gifts, souvenirs for visitors, or attractive decorations for hotel, restaurant or office. 

COMMISSIONS ACCEPTED
As well as the range of maps offered for general distribution, we also undertake commissions to produce exclusive designs.
